This session is designed to focus on stability and strength around your core and back, while strengthening shoulders, biceps, triceps, abdominals and hips.

The band brings in some additional resistance and variety to aid with upper body strength.

This is a good general session as well as being a good option to help strengthen your back and help with back pain. It would be a good idea to have an understanding of the basics of Pilates to ensure this is a safe and effective Pilates based band workout.

Remember to listen to your body, rest if you need to.

It may be more comfortable for your back sitting on a block or cushion to ensure you can achieve your neutral spine position in the seated exercises.

If you do have symptoms or pain, please consult a doctor or health professional before exercising.
