How to keep your heart rate low when running. In this video I want to share with you how I control my heart rate while Iβm running. Iβm currently doing lots of aerobic zone 2 running following a modified version of Dr. Phil Maffetoneβs MAF heart rate training method. Lots of runners initially really struggle to keep their heart rate low enough to run in their aerobic training zone, but as your endurance improves, your new aerobic fitness will allow you to run faster at the same heart rate. Todayβs video has some tips for how you can control your heart rate when you run, so you can run with a low heart rate.
