Ankle stretches before running: In this video I'm going to show you my favourite ankle and calf warm up before running. If you're wondering how to stretch before running, or for ankle exercises to prevent calf pain when running, I've got you covered!

This ankle warm up routine will only take you a few minutes to do before your next run, and will help to loosen stiff ankles and prepare your calf muscles and achilles tendon for the demands of running.

A proper calf and ankle warm up before running will help to prevent running injuries such as achilles tendonitis and calf strains and shin splints.
