These drills are my favourite to feel 100% prepared to run fast. Implementing these exercises before each running session will not only warm you up they also improve your running form and efficiency. 💪🏼
1️⃣ Single-Leg A-Skip + Extension
• Improves sprint mechanics by reinforcing knee drive & hip extension
• Activates hamstrings & fast-twitch muscle fibers for explosive speed
• Develops power & proper ground contact
2️⃣ Single-Leg Knee Drive
• Strengthens hip flexors & improves knee lift
• Trains stability & balance (better posture)
• Reinforces powerful & reactive ground contact
3️⃣ 1-2-Skip
• Develops foot speed, rhythm, and coordination
• Enhances stride efficiency and turnover speed
• Trains dynamic balance and explosive knee drive
4️⃣ High Knees
• Builds leg strength, speed, and stride frequency
• Strengthens hip flexors & knee drive
• Improves foot recovery and overall running form
