Welcome to this interval cardio workout. The 4x4 Norwegian formula is 4 minutes of low intensity training followed by 4 minutes of high intensity training. As the case with all my workout, you can rally make this your own!
There are three 8 minute rounds in this HIIT workout. The first 4 minutes have 4 exercises that are each done for one minute. For the second 4 minutes we will repeat those same 4 moves, but at a higher intensity and adding some impact. There will be a quick warm up and cool down with 24 minutes of non-stop cardio in this video.
With this interval format, you want to raise and lower your heartbeat to increase your cardio fitness. However, if the higher intensity intervals are too much then you can always repeat the exercises at the lower intensity.
If you enjoyed my Japanese walking workouts, you will love this as well!
