30 minute STRENGTH AND MUSCLE weight training at home! This time-efficient full body dumbbell workout targets every muscle group, combining compound and isolation exercises to maximize strength gains, muscle growth, and fat burning.

This high intensity, low impact workout will also improve overall conditioning. Whether you're coming back to weight lifting after a break or an experienced lifter, this full body dumbbell workout can be adapted to suit your fitness level.

Here's today's workout routine and the dumbbell weights I use for strength and muscle building...

Intervals are 40 seconds work and 20 seconds rest
Move from one exercise to the next, each combo repeats for a total of 3

1️⃣ COMBO SET ONE
Bent arm lateral raise 12.5lb/5.5kg (my weight per dumbbell for reference only)
Narrow stance (hip width) squat 30lb/14kg
Close grip row 40lb/18kg
Skiers 12.5lb/5.5kg

2️⃣ COMBO SET TWO
ISO hold with bottom curl 12.5lb/5.5kg
RDL 30lb/14kg
Squeeze (chest) press 20lb/9kg
V-sit twist (bodyweight)

COOL DOWN

📌 BENT ARM LATERAL RAISE - elbows at 90 degrees. Raise the elbows to shoulder height. I find I can use a heavier dumbbell than with a straight arm lateral raise.

📌 SQUEEZE (CHEST) PRESS - press the dumbbells in on one another as you press up and lower to the middle of the chest.

📌 V-SIT TWIST - torso and upper legs make the shape of a V. Twist bringing the elbow behind the back, alternating sides.
